Dr. Sarika Tamaskar, DDS
Dental Care Experience
Dr. Sarika Tamaskar is a family dentist with roots in Olney, Maryland. She graduated from Sherwood High School before earning her undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland in College Park (Go Terps!). She went on to complete dental school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore and expanded her expertise through a residency in Advanced General Dentistry at the VA Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
Dr. Tamaskar is dedicated to creating a welcoming and compassionate environment for patients of all ages. She delivers gentle, personalized care using the latest technology and techniques. As an experienced family dentist, she offers a full range of general dentistry services for adults and children, including white fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, root canals, teeth whitening, night guards, and more. She has also completed extensive additional training to be able to offer specialty procedures as well, such as Invisalign® orthodontics and treatment for snoring, sleep apnea, and TMJ/jaw pain.
She is committed to high-quality dentistry and puts great importance on continuing education to stay on top of current research and to ensure her patients receive the best possible care. Dr. Tamaskar is excited to serve the very community in which she grew up!

Our doctors met in dental school and eventually moved to the Florida Panhandle after getting married. They enjoyed the beach and sunshine for nearly a decade before returning to Maryland. In her free time, Dr. Tamaskar enjoys wrangling her 1-year-old son, 4-year-old daughter, and goldendoodle. She also enjoys trying new restaurants with friends and watching new shows on Netflix after the kids go to bed!
